These podcasts run the gamut from where to start in considering a move to how to deal upon reentering one's home country, but with lots of other life-long learning insights in between. Doreen and Sharon have delved into a vast store of knowledge through all of the experienced and informative people they have selected to interview about nomadic travelling/moving to different cultures. Much of the advice/information/stories provided in these interviews is not only useful to ex-pats, but is helpful to anyone who deals with people from other cultures, whether through casual travel or just in daily living if you should happen to live in a city or area that includes residents from diverse cultures. Lisa Liang's podcast about Telling Your Story and Chris Cartwright's about Building Cultural Connections are two examples of this, and I felt I gained some valuable tools from these talks that I had not expected.

Fred York I tremendously enjoyed the interview with Louise Wiles and her experiences of travel to multiple cultures. Her insights about adapting to another culture by modifying and expanding one's expectations is helpful. Her reassurances about understanding the culture of another country was insightful and helpful as one keeps thinking "How am I going to make this work?". She helped me to accept the periodic bewilderment I experience with living in new, unfamiliar surroundings. The learning experience is so challenging as well as it is an opportunity to grow and capture a new lifestyle in circumstances that are at first confusing. I learned to remember when transitioning to another culture that the event impacts not just yourself but also your life partner. I appreciate the learning opportunities available on Nomadic Dairies and look forward to future broadcasts. Fred

Whenever I listen to your podcasts, I feel as though I'm part of the conversation. You ask the questions I'm thinking, almost as though you've read my mind. And the exchanges are so effortless and relaxed that it feels like I'm chatting over a cuppa with dear friends. Thanks for all your efforts and for coming up with topics and discussions to which I can relate! Keep up the good work.

I've listened/watched 4 or 5 of the podcasts, and invariably the guests are very interesting and from an extremely varied backgrounds. The series have held my interest much longer than most podcasts, and I'll continue tuning in.

Having lived most of my life in one country, it’s fascinating to learn about people who have spent their lives living in many different cultures around the world. Nomadic Diaries introduces you to a whole new world. I recommend it!

I'm so glad to have discovered Nomadic Diaries! I don't have a lot of time to stop and listen but when I'm on a flight or a long distance bus ride I make a point to catch up on all the episodes. What I particularly enjoy about the podcasts is the genuine sharing of the guests' interesting lives. They generously discuss personal aspects of their (mostly) expat lives which provides an opportunity to view things from another's perspective. I find the podcasts gentle, relaxing and informative and I especially love the beautiful soothing voices of Sharon and Doreen. Well done to you both for producing such great content, keep it up1

The podcast covers many situations and considers how the listener may improve or exceed their travel goals and expectations.

This series has insightful interviews with expats from around the world about their experiences and how their worlds have changed.

I am loving listening to the wise words of so many global souls. Condensed goodness for my reluctantly repatriated soul. I am nodding and smiling as so many diverse folks share deeply their learning and growing on the move.
