Film Maker
I worked as a Producer/Director and Series Producer of documentaries and factual programmes in British TV from 1992 (starting at the BBC) until 2016. While travelling in my 20s, I realised that I wanted to be a film maker to change the world and create more knowledge and compassion, because I saw clearly that people 'over there' had the same hopes and dreams as people 'over here'. I've made over 50 films - from topics like why heroin should be available on the NHS, to films about prostitution and murder - also reality shows like Survivor and other series following married couples through their first 15 years - and swap shows where rich girls and poor girls swapped lives for a while. I first came to San Miguel in 1982 already sure that I wanted to live out my final days in the sunshine. And here I am - in a beautiful house in a beautiful town with a beautiful community. Pickleball is my new passion!
